GCDA’s existing 2026–2030 Five Year Plan guides its work. The focus is on delivering its priorities, reviewing progress and responding to the needs of Glenbarr residents.
Community benefit and long-term development
The plan brings together community assets, outdoor spaces, village improvements, local activities and opportunities to participate. Delivery needs to balance practical benefit for residents with the careful development and upkeep of longer-term projects.
A plan does not approve every individual project
Individual schemes, spending commitments and changes still require the appropriate checks, Board decisions and budgets. Project pages explain the current position and the next steps.
Reviewing progress
- Review progress against the 2026–2030 priorities and existing commitments.
- Listen to members and residents about local needs and practical improvements.
- Assess affordability, fairness, delivery capacity and long-term sustainability.
- Share updates and explain any proposed changes through the appropriate decision process.
